French basil oil is extracted by steam distillation of the flowering herbs of Ocimum basilicum L., organically cultivated in low lands of Nepal.
Characteristics Appearance: A fluid liquid
Color: Colorless or pale yellow
Aroma: Light, fresh, sweet-spicy, with faint balsamic, woody un dertone
Active constituents
Major constituents are linalol, geraniol, T-cadinol, eugenol and 1, 8- cineol.
